Inspiration for my videos comes from lots of different places, but mostly from the requests I get from children, parents and teachers. Learning is most powerful when it is self-directed, so when children are truly interested in what they are exploring, they will usually make the most significant progress. In July 2020 The SketchCan Caravan relocated to a new base. It was a long journey across Europe towed by our ‘big white van’, but she made it! Looking forward to lots of new inspiration and adventures on the road here in rural Ireland.

The SketchCan Caravan enterprise was born in 2017. At the time we were based on the boarder of France and Switzerland, where we were working as international school teachers. Our rarely used family caravan was the perfect place to set up a recording studio to make drawing tutorial videos.
